I quietly walk back to my car ,having gotten directions.I quietly slide onto the black driver seat,driving to a small neighborhood.As I get out of my car,I sigh.It was the smallest house on the block,but it had to do.

*BEEP BEEP*

My alarm when off. I sighed and pushed the covers away from myself. Getting up and turning off my alarm and opening the curtains. The lights shone through and I squinted my eyes. I headed towards the shower. I slid off my boxers and stepped in. I began to twist the knob and water came splashing in from the spray tap. I took the Head and shoulders shampoo and began to scrub my hair. I then rinsed it out and did the conditioner after washing myself with soap. I take the towel after turning the knob backwards. I walked out and dried up. I raped the towel where my boxers once were and headed back to my room. I picked out a pair of black skinny’s and a stripped shirt. I walked over to the counter and saw my phone.

I smiled and looked at them deciding to answer Bry. She was my perfect girlfriend. She wasn’t like all the other girls who always smiled and acted like a ditz. No she was more, I couldn’t imagine my life with out her. It was Saturday and the text reminded me she needs to talk to me ASAP. So I can set up a date I guess. So I flipped my phone open while heading down the stares after closing my door behind me.

I closed my phone and smiled at my mother who was cooking breakfast. My eggs were ready and on the table. My father was out again. Working like he always dose.

I wake up slowly to the sound of my music alarm. I turn it off, groaning slightly before heading to the bathroom to shower. I smell bacon on the walk through the hall and hurry through the shower so I can eat with my family. I get dressed quickly and apply a little makeup before heading downstairs. I kiss my parents on the cheeks before sitting down to eat.

I feel my phone buzzing and wipe the bacon grease off my hands before slipping it out of my pocket. I read Tyler's text and smile. I really did love him, just lately it was almost like I was dating a brother. We had basically known eachother since our diaper-days. I reply

I hit send and sigh, wanting to rekindle some of the flame I once felt for him. I couldn't bear to break his heart or risk losing him. I continue to eat, making small talk with my parents.

I quietly walk to the front door opening it.The house was a small,two story ,victorian dream.To me,It was the best house on the block,although it was the smallest.I let out a screech in happyness.I quietly walk back to my car.In the hurry of my packing,I had only brought My Jack skellington bag,full of nothing but clothes and cash.Euros.I curse"I need these in American Dollars"I frown as I look at the money.It was a rather large sum,all my parents had stashed away.I let out a sigh,"This will help until I can get a Travail (Job) and more money"I smile,hoping my new life would be better than the last.

The sound of civilization, people waking and moving about, brushing their teeth and bringing there dogs out, awakens me. I see filtered light through the bushes and underbrush I had set as my temporary home, near the nice side of town. The North side. My hand brushes the wet dew on the perfectly cut blades of grass in the cookie cutter house's backyard as I push myself up from the ground.

My hair, pulled in a high ponytail, was tangled into knots. My skin shined with sweat and dirt, already permanently rubbed into my skin. My jeans were ripped and stained beyond repair, while my black shirt just barely stayed together.

Being homeless was almost as bad as living at home. Almost.

I sat down and began talking about school with my mother. We talked about everything except my privet life. I looked at my phone to see she still hasn’t texted back. I sigh and munch on my toast. My mother finishes the fruits and comes to sit in the seat beside me. Sudenly my phone vibrrates. I smile for it was Bray.

There was school today, but I didn't feel like going. I go to a music store. I look at some c.d’s and nothing good. I see a girl about 14 and her friends walk in. “Oh my god” She yells picking up a Hannah Montana and turns to her two friends. Then their faces light up “Ahh” they both yelled. I laugh a little to myself and find a deep purple c.d , smoke on the water. I go buy it, and the cashier looks at me. Then she scoffs, give me a dirty look “15.99” She told me. I handed her a 20 and took my change. Then I go to a book store. I but little women, even thought I have a copy at home, then go to star bucks. I order a caramel frapp and sit down at a 2 people table at the back. I open the book and start reading it.

I watch my parents go through their usual morning ritual. My dad reads the paper and converses with us, as my mom finishes the meal before taking the crossword puzzle from the paper. I smile, knowing that I have a pretty good life despite the fact we weren't extraordinarily wealthy. My phone goes off again.

I grimace as I lug my backpack out of the bushes, with all the things I need in it. Some money, some clothes, a bit of food. A bit of everything, really. Everything except actual school work. I gave up on that part of my life long ago.

I walked to one of the houses bird baths, and brushed my teeth. I hated the feeling of grime, the layer of filth you get when they were dirty. I quickly splashed water on my face in a sad attempt to get the dirt out. A sad, failed attempt. A woman, around fifty, looked out her window and scowled at me. Closing her blinds, she shot me the look of daggers. Filth, she though.

It's not my fault I wasn't rich. Had a bad homelife. Worse then most on the south side. Living under these bushes near the huge houses was the closest I ever got to luxury.

Blake is the kid dressed in black in the corner, cynically laughing at society from the sidelines. He's on several drugs, and always has some sort of hat, hoodie, or sunglasses covering his eyes. Gets his money from selling drugs, and petty theft, even though he comes from an upperclass family.

I decide to go to star bucks since my mother could not make coffee like them. I walk out the door smiling at her and giving her an air kiss. I cheek my phone to see that there was another message from Bray. I nod my head then see star bucks after walking about an hour. I walk in seeing a girl from my school and decide to make small talk since I don’t know her very well. I order my Frapachino and sat in the seat in front of her.

“Hey do you go to my school?” I said movie my chair in to the table. She was reading but, I don't seem to care.

I shut the passenger door,before starting back inside.I needed to find a bank,no one would take Euros and I needed an exchange.I quietly,walk to inside throwing the blanket and pillow on the floor.I grab my bag and walk back outside.I let out a sigh,"Or, où est la banque?"I ask,my french accent ringing through the air.

I didn't even bother looking at the guy "Does it even matter?" I ask as I keep reading. At this moment, I am at the part where Beth is sick, Jo is in love and Amy is just plain lost. Then I lift my head up, and look at the guy "I do" I say in a rude tone. The truth is, I hate people. I hate them around me, I have them with me. In fact I just hate them.

I thank my mom for the breakfast and hug both parents goodbye as they head to work. I watch them pull out of the driveway before walking upstairs and pulling my guitar from it's well worn and decorated case. I smile as I pull it into my lap and strum a few chords before I start to play. I sing along, playing "Your Call" by Secondhand Serenade, adding my own style to the song.

“Hey do you go to my school?” I said movie my chair in to the table.

"Does it even matter?" She said not even looking at me. Wow rude much I thought looking at my Frap then taking a sip. She looked like she was about to say something before I added something else to get her talking. “I do” She said and didn’t even look at me. Why did she hate me she didn’t even know me. I snatch her book from her hands smiling and seeing what she was reading. It wasn’t that bad of a book.

“You don’t mind if I borrow this do you?” I said smirking.

I sigh,and drop my bag.The bank could wait.I quietly grab my guitar from the backseat.I sit on the roof of my car,strumming notes to a popular European song.I sing quietly,as I watch cars pass on the street

"You can keep it" I say. I already have that book at home and I've read it a couple of times. "Whta do you want?" I ask him. Yes, I am rude to people. It's just the way I was raised. I was homeschooled for all my life. Grade 9 was my time ever going to a school with other students. I never gotten to like it.

"Just to say hi" I said puting down the book and looking at the clock.
